Part of the Bay Area 80’s Metal Scene Ruffians developed a distinctive sound, blending influences of traditional Hard Rock and Heavy Metal. The band debuted at San Francisco’s Mabuhay Gardens in ’83 and released their self-titled EP in ’85. Having supported UFO, Saxon, Alice Cooper, Loudness & Slayer; exhibits the bands appeal to both Hard Rock & Heavy Metal enthusiasts. Despite never obtaining mainstream success, Ruffians are revered by Heavy Metal fans worldwide for their contribution to the genre. The band plays this rare Bay Area show before heading to Germany’s Keep it True Festival in April.
